Ferring+You
The Commercial FP&A Senior Finance Manager will work in the Group HQ and report to the Director of Group FP&A. You will work in close collaboration with the Chief Commercial Officer and his team, and act as a trusted business partner, contributing to the realisation of the Ferring commercial strategy. Expert in financial modelling and analytical tools you will build complex analyses and present them in an insightful and visual way which will facilitate decision making. You will also be instrumental in the coordination of the Group forecast processes for the Commercial Organisation. Having experience of working cross functionally and with individuals coming from different backgrounds and cultures, you will be a central player of the commercial finance community.
Your day at Ferring
Support strategic and operational decision making with timely and proactive analyses, assessments of variances to the plans, financial impacts and risks.
Develop scenarios and stress test options taking into consideration the risk / reward profiles
Drive value creation by supporting and challenging business leaders in an active, transparent and constructive manner as well as developing a library of tools and presentations to enable financially based decision support
Identify areas of improvement in the business and organization and propose implementation plans for changes recommended
Perform budget / forecast / business plan processes
Perform monthly analytical reviews to understand deviations to plan and propose corrective actions
Work collaboratively, managing relationships with the CCO team, the markets as well as other functions - gathering inputs and jointly ensuring financial control.
Business integrity: strict implementation of IFRS and internal guidelines across the entities / functions
Benchmark Ferring performance against key competitors, bring in external insight to performance appraisal
Support and evaluate existing financial planning tools to ensure timely and accurate financial planning and reporting across the Group
Behind our innovation…There’s you
University Master’s Degree with a major in Finance or Economics required
10- years’ experience in Finance (audit in Big 4 is a strong advantage) and sound experience in multinational environments
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is an asset
Commercial analytical experience desired
Strong experience in Financial Modelling / analytical tools.
Solid understanding of financial and accounting principles (IFRS) and processes.
Robust project and change management skills
An analytical mindset and a self-starter, being able to see opportunities and solve problems independently
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Track record of working independently with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders
Ability to work in decentralized finance structure
Ability to set long-term financial targets and sponsor performance improvement projects
Experience in working in a multicultural environment is an advantage
CPA certification or any accounting degree / MBA desirable but not essential
Professional business English mandatory (oral and written). Any additional language is a plus
