To grow our team, we are looking for a Senior Project Lead Engineer (m/f/d, 80-100%) at our office in Langenthal starting immediately or by agreement.

Start: immediately or by agreement

Workplace: Langenthal, Home Office

Your main tasks:

  • Managing complex internal and external development projects
  • Responsible for the technical coordination with suppliers and development partners within projects
  • Supports the sales team and customers with the definition of system requirements and cost calculations
  • Acts as the interface between international customers and our team
  • Maintains and develops our successful configuration management
  • Checking and releasing of technical and engineering documents in accordance with internal and external standards
  • Supports other team members with project management and technical expertise
  • Travelling worldwide with up to 50% of contracted time

 

What we are looking for:

  • A diploma/BSc in a technical field preferrable in aviation or equivalent
  • Professional industry recognized Project Management qualification an advantage
  • Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in the aviation industry or similarly strongly regulated industries. Preferably with project experience of Seat OEMs
  • Advanced working knowledge in aviation regulations
  • A sound technical understanding in mechanics and electronics, both theoretical and practical
  • Basic knowledge in software specification and development
  • Advanced understanding of product/system life cycle
  • Advanced English skills in reading and writing. German is a plus.
