College Alpin Beau Soleil is a unique school community in the Swiss Alps: home to 300 students aged 11-18 from 50 countries around the world and offering an unparalleled educational experience. YOUR PROFILE

 

As a Marketing Manager (Maternity Cover) at Beau Soleil, you will be at the heart of our marketing operations, ensuring the seamless continuation of our innovative projects and campaigns during a maternity leave period lasting between 8 and 12 months. 

 

This dynamic role, offered on an 80% contract basis, requires a marketing professional with a sharp strategic mind and a keen eye for design and branding. You will lead the daily activities of our marketing department, aligning all efforts with our strategic goals. Your ability to monitor and analyze campaign performance will be essential in driving improvements. 

 

Beyond that, you’ll manage and update our website content, keep our community engaged with weekly communications, and curate compelling content for our social media platforms. Working closely with our content creator and graphic designer, you’ll ensure all marketing materials are high-quality and consistent with our brand.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the marketing department.
  • Ensure continuity of marketing projects and campaigns as per strategy.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing actionable insights.
  • Manage social media platforms, curating engaging content aligned with brand.
  • Act as brand guardian, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with regional Nord Anglia marketing team monthly for best practices.
  • Support branding initiatives and respond promptly to company branding needs.
  • Maintain website content updates including job postings and blogs.
  • Maintain weekly school communications via Mailchimp.
  • Oversee content production for various platforms, ensuring brand alignment.

 

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • A degree level mandatory in marketing, communication or any other relevant field.
  • Language skills: English as a mother tongue, French essential, others useful.

 

EXPERIENCE

 

  • Proven experience of marketing, external communications/PR preferably gained within independent education or otherwise a similar area in the charity, commercial sector or luxury business.

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION

 

  • Understanding branding, image, and style, as well as the factors that influence international high-end customers and their decision-making process in selecting a school for their child.
  • Experience leading and executing project-based marketing tasks with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Capable of undertaking independent tasks and able to communicate succinctly, effectively, and attractively both orally and in writing, ideally in both English and French.
  • Solid understanding of social media strategy, scheduling, and management.
  • Expert knowledge of websites, with the ability to oversee their effective and regular maintenance.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Positive, dedicated and warm personality.
  • Team player.
