Our Automotive Technology business is passionate about the automotive industry and produces as well as markets high-tech automotive components worldwide. Our product and service range includes chassis technologies such as steering and damper systems and the assembly of axle systems as well as powertrain components for conventional and alternative engines. We also develop assembly systems for body-in-white construction and produce lightweight car body components in series.

• You have successfully completed a technical degree in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or a comparable degree or a comparable educational background
• You have several years of professional experience in the field of electronic/mechatronic components in an international environment
• Ideally, you have already gained experience in a larger company in the automotive or electronics/mechatronics industry
• Willingness to travel internationally (20%) and business fluent English skills round off your profile

• Responsibility for the strategic development and implementation of a sustainable product group strategy for electric motors
• Independently observing and analysing international procurement markets and identifying trends and areas for action at an early stage
• Establishing and expanding supplier pools in line with our corporate strategy
• Qualifying and developing suppliers together with the specialist departments
• Independently carrying out benchmarks for series parts, new technologies and new markets
• Systematically analysing and implementing potential savings
• Negotiating and concluding international supplier contracts
• Co-operation with the purchasing department of the business units and global purchasing
