Multilingual Communication Specialist - German/English (m,w,d) - 80%, Zürich

Project/Role: For our financial client in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Multilingual Communication Specialist who has a passion for linguistics and thrives in diverse linguistic environments. You will support and coordinate the production of client letters and related documents.

Main Tasks:

• Help internal teams create client communications and guide them through the process, providing documents and guidelines.
• Check the tone and layout of client letters and related materials like brochures and forms, following brand guidelines.
• Edit texts in German and English.
• Coordinate translations and proofreading with external vendors, ensuring consistency across five languages (German, English, Spanish, French and Italian)
• Maintain and update production process documents and support materials.
• Share input with the Language Services team for terminology and language guidelines

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in applied linguistics or related field
• Experience in finance or communications preferred but not required
• Fluent in English and German (one as native)
• Additional language skills in French, Italian, or Spanish would be an advantage
• Strong focus on customer service and quick understanding.
• Flexible, committed, and able to work in a team with good social skills and resilience.
• Independent, resilient, and flexible personality.
