We are the research team "Smart Manufacturing & Services" of Prof. Friedli at the Institute of Technology Management (ITEM-HSG). Together with leading international companies from the B2B sector, we develop new approaches to successfully help them transform from a product to a solution provider and are looking for a new team member.

From supply chains to production to waste management, digitalization is transforming the economy and unleashing new opportunities for sustainability. Research Assistant or Internship (+ Thesis possible) (m/w/d)

Your tasks

  • Developing and validating a new industrial recycling ecosystem
  • Enabling new use-cases for sustainability (CO2-emissions tracking, transparency in supply chains, circular economy)
  • Fostering innovation and value-co-creation via a digital platform
  • Consulting on organizational development topics
  • Designing & developing new digital services

Your profile

  • Advanced university studies in Business or Economics, (Industrial-) engineering, Computer Science, Psychology or similar
  • Independent, results-oriented and structured working method
  • Interest in data and literature analysis, depending on the topic
  • Professional handling of MS Office, in particular MS PowerPoint & Excel
