As the NDC Solution Architect, your role involves designing and guiding the NDC solution architecture for multiple projects related to NDC applications. This includes creating detailed solution specifications and collaborating with Lufthansa Group Domain Architects to exchange innovative IT ideas.

• Create and maintain NDC Security & Solution Architecture Documentation (SSAD)
• Provide Consulting Services (NDC Channels)
• Contribute to new Requests coming out of Request Management Process
• Create NDC Product Solution Designs
• Align with Domain Architect on Solution Design
• Support Projects and provide Architectural Requirements
• Explore and contribute to Technology Innovation (NDC Channels)
• Contribute to Target Pictures
• Develop architecture of application towards Target Pictures
• Provide and ensure Architectural Knowledge Management for Product
• Share ideas of IT innovations to contribute to the innovation management process
• Document Architectural Decisions and Architectural Debt

• University or College degree or similar education in IT or Computer Science
• Solid experience in NDC Architecture, processes, technology and tools
• Experience with system integration, including API design and management, micro-services architecture, and data exchange protocols
• Ability to derive architecture alternatives from requirements incl. evaluation
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with good communication skills on multiple levels
• Self-motivated, with driving mentality and able to manage priorities
• Ability to take responsibility and to stay focused on delivering
• Experience in the Airline IT industry is a plus
• High commitment and dedication
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
