Your role and responsibilities

The R&D Engineer plays an important role in identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative technology by contributing with their own ideas on development and solutions. Reporting to the CoE Laboratory Manager, in this position, you will be responsible for project development and assigned tasks working independently using your technical knowledge in a structured way.The work model for the role is hybrid. #LI-hybrid• Documents work and contributes to written technical reports• Uses technical know-how in own area of competence to solve problems• Contributes with own creative ideas to R&D projects and proposes follow-up activities based on project results• Participates in working teams and offers assistance to team members to gain information and knowledge• Keeps up to date with strategic plans and performs activities in line with the current mission• Adheres to applicable processes, standards, and guidelines, and supports the achievement of assigned targets (quality, time) as well as raises and addresses risks

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering
• Minimum few years of experience working as an R&D Engineer with UPS equipment or equivalent related experience
• Sound knowledge in Electrical Engineering for power converter platforms is a plus
• Fluent in Italian and good knowledge of English (German is a plus)
• Team player and ability to work without supervision
