Introduction
DePuy Synthes, a member of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, is currently hiring for a Senior R&D Mechanical/Electromechanical Engineer. The position is a fixed term contract for at least 24 months.
The Senior Product Development Engineer will utilize tools and methods for the effective and efficient development, transfer, and maintenance of products/processes throughout the product lifecycle. The incumbent will also utilize electromechanical principles and problem-solving skills to develop and optimize products/processes that are aligned with the overall Product Development vision. They will ensure effective risk management to prevent unanticipated failure modes and improve capability of processes. This position will be based in Oberdorf, Switzerland.
Key Responsibilities
You will be employed in the Product Development Engineering Power Tools Team, which is responsible for the design and documentation of products on the market. Your work has a direct impact on our patients and users.
In this position you are responsible for the technical support of manufacturing product transfers for existing electrically powered instruments and their accessories such as batteries and chargers.
