External Growth Strategy Task Force
We are a globally active multidisciplinary advisory firm offering a breadth of services from legal and tax consulting all the way over to accounting and audit. As part of our evolving and forward growth strategy, we seek out opportunities in various markets to foster a systematic but brisk external expansion. To help with the acquisition projects we pursue, we seek a diligent and inspired M&A Lawyer to bolster our team.
We are in search of a committed professional, prepared for cross-border engagements, displaying both precision and adaptability. This role calls for a balance of independent initiative and teamwork within diverse cultural settings.
Role & responsibilities:
- Become a leading member of our task force that has been created specifically for our expansion strategy
- Collaborate worldwide within our organization to methodically assess and navigate potential acquisitions and mergers to add to our global footprint
- Steer the legal facets of our growth initiatives, underpinned by careful compliance and judicious representation
- Report to the task force leader, with the scope to, in time, autonomously handle specific acquisition projects
- Engage in crucial negotiations and play a contributory role in strategic decisions
- Integrate with our M&A practice group, lending your expertise to select client engagements
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in M&A or an allied legal field
- Native or near-native command of English. Proficiency in another globally relevant language is a merit; German would be advantageous
- International legal qualification, an active attorney's license from an EU country is a plus
- Documented experience in international contexts, particularly in transactional roles
- Essential willingness and ability to travel frequently
- Proven legal acumen, precision in contract drafting, and adept negotiation skills
- An understanding of tax consulting or accounting would be appreciated
