Are you passionate about pushing the boundaries of biomedical and electrochemical engineering? The Lukatskaya and Herrmann Laboratories are seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to embark on a groundbreaking project focused on the electrochemical and materials engineering for nerve regeneration.
Project background
This unique project aims to facilitate nerve regeneration and repair using an electrochemical and material-centric approach. Leveraging the expertise of both the Lukatskaya and Herrmann Labs, the research will involve interdisciplinary approaches combining materials science, fundamental electrochemistry, advanced fabrication and characterization techniques, and surgical implementation in clinically relevant models at the Balgrist University Hospital.
