Expected qualifications:

• Engineering degree or Master specialized in Geosciences, Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics, Petroleum Engineering
• Reservoir Engineering or Petroleum engineering

Computing skills:

• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel)
• Knowledge of PowerBI, Data science, coding (Python, VBA,...)
• Phenomenological modeling
• English: level C1
• French: level C1
• Arabic : optional

Join our affiliate TotalEnergies E&P Qatar in Doha !

As Reservoir Engineer you will work in Doha - Qatar, within the Geosciences and Reservoir team of Al-Shaheen an oil field located offshore Qatar and operated by NOC. The asset is currently in production via 38 platforms, 500 wells & producing close to 300 thousand barrels of oil per day.

You will work under the supervision of a Senior Reservoir Engineer, integrated into a team of 4 Geoscientists and in constant contact with other entities in the subsidiary. Main tasks are :

• Track the Operating Company operations (drilling, workovers, appraisals…) and monitor the field production ;
• Propose actions to optimize production / operations ;
• Take part in integrated studies to determine production mechanisms, development schemes and related production profiles ;
• Support the reservoir engineering studies between specialist studies in TotalEnergies HQ and affiliate ;
• Work across disciplines and entities (geology, geophysics, drilling/completion, architecture, exploitation…) ;
• Collaborate with other team members to enhance and optimize the current internal tools used for monitoring field performance ;
• Development of new tools is also encouraged.
