Intern Marketing & Events

This role is at the center of our Holding team in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. We’ve got a mix of skills here, from Finance and Hospitality to Recruitment, People & Culture, and Marketing. Think of us as the backbone of the company, keeping things running smoothly and helping out everywhere we can. We’re the ones who answer questions, toss around ideas, offer support, and plan those fun outings and initiatives everyone loves. We’re the reliable crew that everyone counts on to keep things rolling.

JOB PURPOSE

Are you an ambitious student, who is eager to help organize significant events and projects from start to the final cherry on top? Then we are looking for you to join our marketing events team.

As intern events in the marketing team, you are busy all day creating and organizing various events. These can be online or offline for our clients and internally, such as the DEPT® Talks. You also help at events for our staff, such as company-wide announcements. You are an all-rounder who is not afraid of new challenges and who gets energy from varied tasks.

Please note: to be eligible for this internship, you are required to be living and studying in the Netherlands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Organize an event from a-z;
• Write invitations, devise social media posts, set up campaigns, and ensure that everything runs smoothly on the day of;
• Research online platforms and come up with recommendations;
• Writing and social skills are instrumental, but you are above all a coordinator in heart and soul.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Have an affinity with event organization;
• Have a full command of the English language;
• Studying in the field of Communication, Marketing, Event Management and similar;
• Have an affinity with social media, advertising and technology;
• Can multitask and coordinate several projects simultaneously;
• Is available from September 2024 for a minimum of 4 days x week and for 5-6 months.
