What you will do:

• Plan and execute software tests as part of embedded software development, ensuring thorough coverage of functionality and performance
• Create comprehensive test specifications and implement corresponding module, function and system tests
• Set up and maintain test rigs, ensuring they are optimized for efficiency and reliability
• Expand test automation capabilities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing procedures
• Collaborate closely with other R&D teams to align testing efforts with project goals and milestones

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Proven experience as a software tester, test engineer, or developer, with a strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
• Proficiency with Python and Git
• Familiarity with Pytest or Unittest frameworks is desirable, along with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
• Familiarity with Jenkins and Gitlab CI is desirable
• Certification as an ISTQB Certified Tester is a plus
• Experience with project and requirements management tools
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, coupled with a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in German or French is advantageous
