The Senior Project Engineer will oversee and support engineering projects within the rail sector. This role encompasses directing and/or supporting projects from initial concept through to completion, ensuring they meet the highest standards in technical, financial, and operational aspects.   • Direct and manage rolling stock and/or railway infrastructure engineering projects from concept to completion in passenger rail and/or freight rail.
  • Oversee technical, financial, and operational aspects of rail and transportation projects.
  • Lead project teams, ensuring accuracy, schedule adherence, and budget compliance.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison with clients and stakeholders.
  • Produce high quality deliverables within budget and scope.
  • Guide and mentor team and partner closely with client and teaming partners to achieve project objectives.
  • Authorize contract deliverables such as project plans, design frameworks, specifications, cost projections, analyses, calculations, reports, drawings, simulations, research studies, products, user manuals, and related documents.
  • Implement QA/QC procedures and drive continuous improvement.
  • Engage in client relations, marketing activities, scope development, and contract negotiations.

任职资格

  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification from California.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering working in rail planning, passenger rail operations, fleet management, and/or rolling stock procurement/deployment.
  • At least 5 years of experience in contract management.
  • Experience working with Intercity Railway, Regional Rail, and/or Urban Light/Heavy Rail
  • Experience with designing and planning civil infrastructure, track & signaling/train control sys-tems, FRA/FTA, and/or facilities in transportation projects.
  • Additional preferred experience with PTC and CBTC.
  • Project management experience required.

We offer an annual gross salary between $170,000 and $260,000 for full-time employment, depending on professional qualifications and experience.
