Intern in Testing (100%)

• Your mission is to actively participate in the rapid testing and validation of innovative technology ideas and concepts at Climeworks, ensuring reliable results. You will play a crucial role in the development and management of Measurements and System Analysis within the Climeworks DAC Test Facilities, contributing significantly to technological advancements. Working in an interdisciplinary team, you will gain insights into a broad range of mechanical and process engineering topics.
• You will assist with investigations into the desorption process step, focusing specifically on steam velocity and distribution in our test facilities, to enhance our understanding at different process conditions.


• You will support in applied R&D projects with focus on measurements & analysis.


• You will analyze and visualize measurement data and create test reports and disseminate the learnings.


• You will assess the feasibility of different measurement methods based on test outcomes and practical application, providing recommendations for improvement or alternative approaches.

• You have completed a BSc/MSc in Mechanical Engineering and are either currently enrolled in a degree program or have recently graduated (within the last year).


• You are available for a full-time 6-month internship, starting in September.


• Ideally, you already have first experiences with technical design using CAD and sensor & measurement techniques.


• You demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and creativity, especially when working with unknown or incomplete information.


• You are reliable, performance-driven, and maintain a structured working style.


• You thrive in both fast-paced team environments and when working independently.


• You are fluent in English, having German skills would be an advantage.
