Director Global Procurement-

Ihre Aufgaben

  • You will, as direct report to the Director Global Operations, be responsible for the global Procurement strategy across the group with its 6 production and development sites, in anenvironment of high growth and planned intensive capacity extension in a dynamic CDMO environment.You will define, implement, and ensure full execution of the Procurement strategy for the group.You will work closely with all manufacturing and development sites in the network (Sweden,Belgium, France, US, and India), including your regular personal presence and interaction on site, to ensure the roll-out and adoption of defined processes, standards, and systems across the group.The scope includes:- Direct spend, with a strong focus on the key raw materials for production (chemicals, specifically different categories of amino acids)- Indirect spend- CAPEX (equipment, building/construction services etc.)In line with market development and demand planning, you will proactively lead the long-term development of the suppliers’ delivery landscape, relationship and manage the related opportunities and risks in order to ensure long-term stability and reliability.
  • You will actively seekopportunities for efficiency gains and monitoring trends on the market to ensure optimal sourcingand pricing. You will further be responsible for the professional negotiation of terms & conditions.You will lead the supplier selection and qualification process, corresponding to customer demands, standards, and evolving ESG requirements.You will use market insights and analytics to support supplier diversity, risk management, and sustainability opportunities.
  • You will actively drive value in cost savings, cash flow / net workingcapital improvement, and other efficiency opportunities.You will build up a more integrated group-wide procurement process, planning, governance, and tools, to ensure optimal and integrated sourcing across all sites employing a balanced approach between global harmonization and local accountability – all with the ultimate objective to timelymeet customer demands.
  • You will lead a small central procurement team, with the procurement functions at the sites reporting to you with a functional / dotted line.You will define and develop the roles, responsibilities, expertise and KPI-driven performance management of the group-wide procurement function and its team members.You will collaborate closely with all relevant internal stakeholders across all relevant functions(operations/production, S&OP, engineering, sales, finance, legal, ESG etc.).

Ihr Profil

  • University degree in business administration, with a focus on supply chain management/ strategic sourcing / logistics management, or other relevant technical or natural scienceswith an additional MBA or equivalent, with 15+ years experience in procurement management with increasing responsibilities and scale.Experience in life science, pharmaceutical, chemical sector preferred, alternatively in complex B-to-B manufacturing environment based on volatile customer demand insimilarly highly regulated industries, with a strong focus on raw materials, chemicals etc.Familiar with GMP requirements. Proven success record in environments of high and fast growth.Proven track record in developing and leading international procurement functions from strategically to tactically, setting the appropriate processes, governance, tools, execution,and performance management within the function. Strong financial understanding, analytical capabilities, able to use complex data towards appropriate decision making,and to set the according processes, monitoring, reporting, decision making governance.Acts with a high degree of customer focus, flexibility, and hands-on approach, and as role model for our customers values of innovation, excellence and trust.Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to influence others, collaborate cross-functionally and across different geographies for optimaloutcomes for the group. Able to work in an international environment and deal withcultural differences, and to collaborate with colleagues spread on different sites. Able totravel according to the requirements of the global role.Fluent in English, German would be highly appreciated

The role is located at the corporate headquarters in canton Zug, Switzerland, with some flexibility to work remotely within Switzerland.
Frequent international business travel is required for internal and external stakeholder management.
Frequent presence on site (internationally is required)
