The targets and clients within our Swiss Mid-Market are a crucial focus area of EY. These businesses range from start-ups all the way to multi-billion-dollar global private companies.
In line with our ambitious market growth strategy for this market, we seek a highly motivated professional to join our Business Development Private Hub team as an Account Coordinator. Collaborating closely with our account team members, including the Global Client Service Partner (GCSP), your primary responsibility will involve providing administrative and coordinative support on dedicated accounts. In doing so, you will assist our account teams in driving revenue growth, identifying opportunities in the Swiss Mid-Market and strengthening relationships across strategically important accounts.
Your key responsibilities
This role is focused on high-impact, high-value activities in all aspects of account coordination, including:
Account Coordination: prepare for, participate in and follow up on regular account team calls with established account teams for strategically important accounts, with a focus on our two primary geographical regions in Zurich and Romandie.
Account Governance: maintain accurate reflection of account roles in our internal systems.
Top Management/Board contacts: Manage and regularly update a comprehensive overview of key stakeholders for allocated accounts, initiate actions to enrich our marketing database.
Support business development initiatives: assist with the EY Entrepreneur Of The YearTM program, Client Experience activities, event invitation processes, budget and expenses monitoring, etc.
Skills and attributes for success
Successful completion of a commercial apprenticeship or equivalent, ideally with the first few years of working experience.
Proficiency in English, French and German.
Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with multiple stakeholders at various levels.
A collaborative, effective and proactive work style.
Strong organizational skills, ability to set the right priorities and deliver on time.
Problem-solving skills and analytical mindset for addressing challenges effectively.
Self-discipline, motivation, and curiosity.
Genuine team player, committed to long-term investment in the team.
