your mission

The Quality Manager Sliprings should be the Quality champion of the site

He/She will lead the Team (20%) and have an operational role (80%) with key products and clients.

We expect the person to:

• Be the champion of our products to support quality to customers

• Be the reference inside our company to assess quality of our finish products and components

• Improve and target best quality standard

• Manage the full ISO, norms with your team

• Work with R&D, Sales, Production and Project Managers for new products development and Industrialization

• Report costs, results and status of Quality improvements.

• Manage and develop the team members with training on the standards

General:

• Establish and implement the Quality requirements during all phases of the project.
• Lead non-conformances activities and lead the associated reviews (internal and customer NRBs)
• Perform root cause analysis. Define and implement corrective/preventive actions with the appropriate departments and insure their implementations (closure)
• Edit quality project documentation (PA Plan, FMECA, CIL …) and review the other project documentation
• Guarantee the complete traceability and configuration of the project (H/W, requirements and documentation)
• Review and approve the test results
• Approve the delivered H/W configuration

Customer:

• Ensure compliancy of the delivered product in regards of the customer requirements
• Act as the main interface to the customer for all Quality topics and lead the quality gates with customers on site
• Tailoring of QA plan for project need issuing quality project plan
• Ensure coherency between PA customers’ requirements and suppliers ones (Supplier specification, audits, etc.)

Production:

• Perform and lead H/W inspection (before assembly, in process and before delivery) with / without customer on site
• Evaluate H/W defects (surface treatment, shocks, scratch, cleanliness …) and conformity to product drawing

Other:

• Support bid managers during the campaigns phase (compliance matrix analysis, …)
• Prepares KPIs/reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and shares it with QM
• Support the PMs in the REX and ensure the quality topics are carefully considered
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

your story

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in mechanical, materials or electrical engineering
• Experience in a similar role in Space/ Aerospace or Medical device Industry is a must.
• Fluent in English, Fluent in French
• Lean Six Sigma Certification
