Your role:

• Utilize your expertise in perfumery to develop and enhance captivating natural fragrances that align with Weleda brand
• Contribute to the strategic direction of our fragrance landscape, ensuring it remains innovative and aligned with market trends
• Collaborate with colleagues in interdisciplinary project teams to drive the development of new fragrance innovations and maintain existing products
• Continuously research and explore new fragrance raw materials, staying up-to-date with industry advancements and trends
• Prepare and deliver engaging presentations on fragrance-related topics for internal and external training sessions and events
• Contribute to marketing efforts by providing valuable insights and creating compelling fragrance-focused content for product marketing materials
• Conduct organoleptic fragrance testing during the quality control process of incoming fragrance raw materials, ensuring compliance with our high standards

 
Your profile:

• Degree in either fragrance or flavour creation or minimum 3 years proven experience in designing and developing fragrances or flavours
• In-depth knowledge of natural fragrance ingredients, their properties, and their interactions
• Strong conceptual and strategic thinking abilities to contribute to the development of our fragrance landscape
• Familiarity with the aromatherapeutic effects of essential oils is preferred
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey fragrance concepts and ideas
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently on projects
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to fragrance development and safety is preferred
• Strong affinity for nature-, health- and sustainability related topics
• Fluent in German and/or English. Basic knowledge of German is required
