As part of our Employee Banking and Trade Basic Desk based in Zürich - we are looking for a KYC Specialist to complement the Employee Periodic KYC Reviews Team and perform the periodic client review process.

IHRE AUFGABEN

• Independently perform periodic KYC reviews of accounts (individual, joint, trusts and legal entities) in accordance with the bank’s guidelines, regulations and policies.  This entails verifying the plausibility of existing documented KYC information, reviewing corroboration documents and assessing potential reputational risks
• Review and verify client documentation to ensure completeness and compliance with internal and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with various departments (compliance & FRM) to address account related issues
• Conduct additional clarifications with the appropriate departments as necessary and initiate escalation procedures if elevated ML-risks, account abuse, potential money laundering or sanctions concerns are identified

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field
• Experience in KYC/AML Compliance, preferably within the financial services industry
• Proven experience in handling complex structures, including trusts, corporations and other entities
• Experience in transactional monitoring to identify and recognize unusual behavior is essential
• Excellent written and spoken language skills in both English and German; additional languages are a plus
• Strong professional communication, organizational abilities and interpersonal skills
• High level of integrity, discretion, and trustworthiness
• High degree of independence as well as proactivity
• Meticulous and detail-oriented work approach the and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
