We are looking for a Chemical Laboratory Technician in Research & Development (all genders) for our Chemical Process Development team at the Visp site. In our team, we deal with bringing active ingredients into production or developing the process for production. We are looking for a person who enjoys working in a chemical laboratory and is interested in laboratory automation and continuous reaction technology.

Key responsibilities:

• Practical implementation of experiments, process engineering development, and optimization of processes for the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients in a standard laboratory as well as in the HAPI laboratory in compliance with safety standards

• Planning, coordination, and documentation of experiments in compliance with regulatory standards

• Maintenance and cleanliness of the assigned laboratory and equipment in the work area

• Supporting the head chemist in the planning and evaluation of experiments

Key requirements:

• You have completed vocational training as a chemical laboratory technician or similar

• You have practical knowledge in the field of chemical process development and the implementation of basic analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, and NMR

• You enjoy working in a chemical laboratory and are interested in laboratory automation and continuous reaction technology

• You have an independent, careful, and reliable way of working. You can communicate and work in a team and enjoy interdisciplinary cooperation

• Good knowledge of English is necessary. Willingness to learn German is required

Für unser Team in der chemischen Prozessentwicklung am Standort Visp suchen wir ein Laborant in der Forschung & Entwicklung (all genders). In unserem Team beschäftigen wir uns damit, Wirkstoffe in Produktion zu bringen bzw. den Prozess für die Produktion zu entwickeln. Wir suchen nach einer Person die gerne in einem chemischen Labor arbeitet sowie Interesse an Laborautomatisierung und kontinuierlicher Reaktionstechnik.

Ihre Aufgaben:

• Praktische Durchführung von Experimenten und Analysen zur verfahrenstechnischen Entwicklung und Optimierung von Prozessen zur Herstellung von pharmazeutischen Wirkstoffen im Standard- wie auch im HAPI Labor unter Einhaltung der sicherheitstechnischen Standards

• Planung, Koordination und Dokumentation der Experimente unter Einhaltung der regulatorischen Standards

• Unterhalt und Sauberkeit des zugewiesenen Labors und der Geräte im Arbeitsbereich

• Unterstützung des leitenden Chemikers bei der Planung und Auswertung der Experimente

Ihr Anforderungsprofil:

• Sie haben eine abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung als Chemielaborant oder ähnlich.

• Sie haben praktische Kenntnisse im Bereich chemischer Verfahrensentwicklung und der Durchführung analytischer Grundtechniken wie z.B. HPLC, GC und NMR.

• Sie haben Freude an der Arbeit in einem chemischen Labor und Interesse an Laborautomatisierung und kontinuierlicher Reaktionstechnik

• Sie haben eine selbstständige, sorgfältige und zuverlässige Arbeitsweise. Sie sind Kommunikations- und Teamfähig und haben Freude an interdisziplinärer Zusammenarbeit

• Gute Deutschkenntnisse sind erforderlich, Grundkenntnisse in Englisch
