Your day to day responsibilities are

The Payroll Time Benefits team focuses on payroll, time, benefits support and provides customer service and advisory support to P&C and business partners on local P&C systems and processes and ensuring end-to-end process completion in line with customer focused principles to ensure the Roche People Practices work for the business. As the Subject Matter Expert for payroll integrations and data quality you will own the processes and respective solution functionality, focusing on customer experience, knowledge building and end-to-end resolution in Payroll, Time & Benefits operational teams.

As a qualified expert, you are responsible for:

  • Being responsible for PTB integration monitoring from WD to payroll systems. Analysing errors, supporting the resolution of failed events, assure data alignment between integration and payroll systems (Exchange and euHReka/SAP) and for data quality and alignment of master data between Workday and the payroll system by running data comparisons on a monthly basis and taking corrective actions in collaboration with PTB and ELM colleagues

  • Proactively identifying data issues and drive improvements of data quality

  • Delivering Pay, Time & Benefits related reports to requesters from business and within People & Culture as well as authorities on a recurring basis or upon request.

  • Delivering training on systems, tools, processes and ensuring quality of data maintenance by regular checks and implementing corrective actions.

  • Centralizing and managing all relevant process documentation (SWIs, SOPs, operation handbook, employee handbook, FAQ, etc.) and ensuring they are up to date.

  • Contributing to any relevant local and global payroll, time & benefits projects, system testing in order to have operation excellence.

  • Being able to handle any ad hoc task and/or project according to business needs.

  • Providing expert consultation in researching and developing solutions to a variety of complex, non-routine reporting across Pay, Time and Benefits data within Switzerland.

  • Providing customer service on HR related activities, such as inquiry resolution, request management, and troubleshooting to create end-to-end customer experience.

  • Ensuring compliance in accordance with country and customer regulations.

  • Supporting appropriate process execution, servicing regulatory compliance / audit readiness.

  • Collaborating with Data Governance and People Technology experts to optimise systems used to deliver Pay, Time and Benefits reporting.

For this position, you bring 3-5+ years of related experience in Payroll, Time, or Benefits, preferably in a Shared Services Environment. You have Subject Matter Expertise in these areas and a solid understanding of Shared Service Center Processes and environment. Additionally, you have the ability to navigate complex HR Data structures and demonstrate expertise in Pay, Time, and Benefits processes and procedures. Experience in leading projects and a strong capability for continuous improvement, process design, and implementation are also important qualifications for this role. You have a strong knowledge of business solutions such as Workday and SAP, including their respective business processes. Efficient handling of standard IT applications, particularly Google Suite and MS Excel, is expected. You also demonstrate strong business acumen and an understanding of how your work impacts the overall servicing of the organization. A good understanding of country-specific processes, legal requirements, and constraints is essential. Finally, fluency in both written and spoken German and English is required.
