VIE - Process Engineer - H/F

Why do we need you ?

📢 The center of CRIR located in Picardie gathers key competences, from R&D and engineering, to develop and support Isover plants worldwide.

You will take place at the center of the collaboration between CRIR teams and the production site of Lucens (Switzerland). You will have the task to ensure on one hand the follow-up of R&D studies on site and on the other hand the industrialization of new technologies.

🎯 The main role

You will participate in several development projects linked to scraps reduction and product quality optimization:

You will have the following missions:

  • Understand, describe and document specific process steps.
  • Conduct R&D trials to test new solutions.
  • Collect and analyze data, capitalize knowledge.
  • Set up and validate relevant sensors.
  • Study the links between process and product quality.
  • Propose recommendations to optimize processes.

This is a 12-month mission, extendable once.

🙌 A plus for this role  

You will have a one-month training in CRIR Center in France before your departure, in order to prepare you well for your VIE experience.

  • Master’s degree in Process Engineering or any of the following specialties: Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Hands-on and strong interest in field work.

A team ready to welcome you

You will join a team of 8 people (with you): 3 engineers, 2 technicians and 2 VIE.  Daily management will be ensured by the plant with regular follow-up from CRIR referents. Initial missions will be eventually completed by operational missions according to the plant’s needs.
