AliveDx is seeking a Facility & EHS Specialist to join our Supply Chain and Site Manufacturing Team based in Eysins, Switzerland. This is a full-time and permanent position.

 

YOUR MISSION

In this role, you will ensure our facilities are maintained to the highest standards and that our operations comply with all environmental, health and safety regulations.

More precisely, your main responsibilities will include:

 

Facility Activities:

  • Collaborate with external companies and the FM society responsible for building maintenance.
  • Welcome and monitor subcontractors according to defined specifications.
  • Maintain existing building infrastructure actively participate in modernization projects of installations.
  • Contribute to creating or modifying preventive plans for building equipment.
  • Maintain updated plans, manage orders and invoices.

EHS Activities

  • Analyze and enhance workplace health and safety provisions by implementing CFST guidelines.
  • Design and implement sustainability programs and practices with the objective to monitor and mitigate the environmental impact of the organization’s activities, including carbon footprint accounting, carbon emission reduction initiatives, environmental diagnostic and plans, workforce training and awareness.
  • Monitor and manage waste disposal and its treatment, including special waste, as well as emissions, effluent discharge, in compliance with pertinent environmental regulations.
  • Maintain the organization’s certification to ISO 14001 standards and monitor external/internal audits.
  • Responsible for the organization’s ISO certifications in EHS areas according to the organization’s priorities.
  • Identify hazards in the company, especially in health and safety at work, to which employees might be exposed (MSST).
  • Implement a “health safety relay” system within the company’s various departments (first aiders, etc.) and conduct evacuation exercises regularly.
  • Support other departments at AliveDx in EHS aspects of our Products (such as waste generated by the Mosaiq platform).
  • Foster a safety mindset through information dissemination, training, and involving all employees.
  • Carry out internal audits/inspections (regular tours of areas) according to company requirements.
  • Propose and oversee implementation of health, safety and environmental impact improvement solutions.
  • Create reports and follow up on incidents/accidents.
  • Liaise with competent authorities and organization’s management; member of the ESG Task Force (Environment Social Governance).

Emergency Response Coordination

  • Point of contact for the organization's business continuity plans development and implementation.
  • Immediate coordination and management of response efforts in crisis situations; contributes to investigations of incidents and to identifying corrective actions in EHS and Facility area.

 

YOUR COMPETENCIES

  • Technical background in facility or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS and Facility management with knowledge of cleanrooms and the medical environment.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS Regulations and standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and influence employees at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluent in French, English proficiency
