Ferrum Process Systems AG (centrifuge technology) serves a demanding clientele in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry worldwide. Do you want to be actively involved in these growing markets? Main Tasks
- Identification of process engineering related development projects
- Conceptual and strategic definition of process engineering project specifications in close cooperation with our product manager and our process engineering department
- Planning, management, implementation and documentation of process engineering development projects
- Data acquisition in the field on customer sites as well as planning and carrying out application tests in our internal laboratories
- Data validation and modeling
- Identifying and developing projects aligned with company strategy, optimizing processes, and adapting new applications
- Regular internal presentation and communication of project status updates to peers and management
- Support the Process Engineering team in the dimensioning of centrifuges, global commissioning and on-site optimization for customers
Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in an engineering discipline (e.g. mechanical engineering, process engineering, chemical engineering or similar)
- Practical experience in the processing industry (chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food) is a plus
- Good knowledge of process engineering, ideally in solid-liquid separation
- Strong mathematical proficiency, particularly in statistics
- Independent and responsible way of working as well as hands-on mentality
- Very good knowledge of German and English (level B2)
- Willingness to travel 10 - 20 %
