The incumbent, reporting to the Consumer & Trade Activation Lead, leads the planning and the coordination of our brand initiative in 1-2-1. The job owner is responsible for budgeting, planning, implementing & controlling of 1-2-1 activities & programs. They secure a smooth integration of 1-2-1 activities into ongoing campaigns & promotions in our Trade, Horeca and New Channel environment. They are the primary contact person for external partners and internal stakeholders.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for planning, coordinating and developing 1-2-1 activities in alignment with the company's business and marketing strategies
  • 1-2-1 at Point of Purchase (POP): Apply, monitor and refine the activation strategy. Define optimal environment and visit frequency in collaboration with the agency and our sales team
  • Develop and enhance our New Channel environment, co-lead with the Event Manager: strategy, investment, upgrade. Align with agency 
  • Dedicate time for coaching for sales staff including field visits to POPs and New Channels
  • Analyze channel performance by delivering comprehensive reports, based on Commercial engine KPIs
  • Main PoC and accountability for budget management creating a strong link between Finance (Marketing) and Activation functions. Owns the budget process, making sure JTI processes are respected (planning, actuals, variances)

 

Your qualifications and professional experience

  • Higher education in business administration or similar and relevant practical experience, ideally in Marketing activation (FMCG)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical and strategic thinking
  • Team-player as well as a determined personality, you can lead, manage, influence, and develop relationships with our agency and the sales staff
  • Very good knowledge of English & German. French would be considered an advantage
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel). PowerBI knowledge preferred
