Lead Engineer Automation

Your Tasks
Leading initiatives of the Automation Project Portfolio, Enable RIETER as a system integrator with the products and services developed
Lead external partnerships with research organizations to bring new technologies and best practices to RIETER
Perform analysis on automation system level and manage and engineer requirements
Transformation to feature specification for the internal development team and external service provider
Planning and monitoring of development and design in the areas of technical scope, budget and schedule
Coordination with project team members from adjacent product units and competence centers
Preparation and support of acceptance tests, assistance of commissioning abroad
Strong collaboration with Product Management and Project Engineering
Technical sales support around Automation solutions
Your Profile
Bachelor or Master Degree in Industrial Automation, Robotics, Textile Technology or Mechanical Engineering
Professional experience in Textile Technology or Industrial Automation
Project Management skills (Agile as well as Waterfall)
Affinity to realize iterative product development process
Strong capabilities in communication: transparent, fact based and open communication style
Inter-cultural competence & international experience
Cross-functional understanding, able to effectively work in a matrix organization
English regular communication in reading and writing, German and any other language is considered a plus
Willingness to travel ca. 20%
