Introduction

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-time Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of accounting tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our financial department. Currently estimating 10-20% committment.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions according to local regulation
• Handle quarterly and annual closings
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Comply with financial policies and regulations

Qualifications

• Proven experience as accountant
• Preferably, experience with retail and/or ecommerce related transactions
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, preferably QuickBooks
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Work permit or resident
