We are seeking a R&D Test Engineer - Internship to join our team.
Your impact
-
Lead and execute subsystem‑level and system‑level verification, testing, and acceptance activities to ensure medical devices meet all functional, performance, and safety requirements.

Conduct software integration, reliability, and interoperability testing across components and complex system‑of‑systems environments.

Develop, execute, and maintain Engineering Test, Verification, and Validation protocols, ensuring prototypes and final designs comply with defined specifications.

Analyze and document verification results, prepare detailed reports for regulatory submissions, and maintain complete technical file documentation.

Manage test environments, materials, logistics, and apply statistical methods to ensure robust verification data and efficient test execution.
Duration
The internship is offered for a duration of 9 months, start date June 1, 2026.
Location
This is a Zug-based hybrid role, with four in-office days each week to enable rapid collaboration.
Your qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a technical college or university of applied sciences, biomedical, mechanical or material engineering, physics, human health & science or electronics.

Max 1 year working experience. First exposure to test environments and/or lab testing, ideally in an electrotechnical or mechanical environment or in the service area of hospital or medical technology.

Knowledge of physics and medical technology and applicable standards in the field of medicine. Product familiarity and verification activities in the lab.
