This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes while working for a leading global food company. As an Interim Automation Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our factory automation systems, resolving technical issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
This is a temporary position lasting until the end of 2025, offering a solid foundation for your future career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Second-Line Support: Provide support for factory electrical automation and automation systems, assisting shift-based personnel in resolving breakdowns and understanding failure modes.
- Troubleshooting & Analysis: Investigate, monitor, and eliminate recurring failure modes to support the breakdown analysis process.
- Process Development: Participate in process development activities, including process design, specification, and commissioning.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate consumer-centric process specifications and internal documentation independently.
- Collaboration: Work effectively with a manager and technical coaches to implement projects aligned with the Manufacturing Team, Business Development as well as Maintenance & Repair
- Communication: Effectively communicate project statuses, risks, and technical information to stakeholders.
What You Will Bring
- Strong problem-solving competence and a proactive approach.
- A passion for automation and a desire to learn and grow.
- A recent degree in Automation Engineering or a related field.
- Basic understanding of automation principles and systems.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Technical curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning.
Extra Ingredients to make your adventure a success:
- Fluency in German (minimum B2) and English.
- Experience with Siemens S7 and TIA Portal.
- Familiarity with Rockwell Automation systems is a plus
