H55 is the electric aviation pioneer born from Solar Impulse, the first aircraft to fly around the world on solar energy alone. Our mission is to make air transport clean, safe, and affordable by building the certification grade energy storage the industry needs to scale.

What we build is meant to fly. Not just prototypes, but certified systems that work in real operations. That requires discipline across engineering, safety, and how we run the business, including finance.

We are based in Sion, with a growing international footprint, and we are entering a pivotal new phase, expanding our operations and building the foundation for the next stage of electric aviation.

Your Role

Reporting to the CFO, you will be a core member of a small, hands on finance team. There is no large back office behind you. You own your topics end to end, from transactions through to reporting, and you make things work in practice.

This role suits someone technically solid who is comfortable getting into the detail, building structure where needed, and stepping back to support business decisions.

What you'll do

• Own day to day accounting and ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance
• Manage quarterly closings and consolidated group reporting across multiple entities
• Run the annual audit process and act as the main point of contact for external auditors
• Drive the budgeting cycle and forecast updates in collaboration with operational teams
• Work on financial modelling to support planning, decision making, and business scenarios
• Contribute to business finance topics including:
  • Product costing
  • Pricing and RFPs
  • Cost control and cash management
  • Financial planning and analysis

What we're looking for

• Brevet Fédéral in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent qualification such as ACCA or CPA, is a strong plus, with preference for candidates currently pursuing it.
• Around 5 or more years of experience in controlling, accounting, or audit, ideally in a hands on environment
• Solid knowledge of Swiss GAAP. IFRS or US GAAP is a plus
• Strong Excel skills and practical experience with at least one ERP system
• Fluent in French and English

• You take ownership and are comfortable working independently
• You are technically rigorous but pragmatic when needed
• You communicate clearly with both finance and non finance stakeholders
• You are comfortable in a small team where everyone contributes beyond their title
• You can navigate a fast moving environment where not everything is fully defined

This role has a direct impact on how the company operates and scales. You will work closely with different teams and be involved in both operational and forward looking finance topics.
