Connect data at scale and with precision. In this role, you ensure that new sources are integrated into our data raw-layer within minutes - fully automated, versioned and continuously monitored to guarantee a secure and reliable data flow.
Your role
- Own end-to-end data sourcing and enable fully automated onboarding of new sources into the Raw Layer within minutes
- Design and maintain Git-driven, template-based ingestion frameworks using YAML and Jinja for JDBC, API and file-based integrations
- Orchestrate CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, including Python-based deployments, automated testing and promotion workflows
- Implement and operate automated schema drift detection, comparing source and Data Vault structures, triggering pull requests or alerts, and maintaining ?90% structural coverage
- Continuously evolve and manage the template library, ensuring stable, scalable loading processes and transparent performance metrics on the platform dashboard
- Embed data quality checks directly into pipelines and promote engineering excellence by mentoring junior engineers on Git standards and best practice
What you bring to the role
- Master's degree in computer science and at least three years of experience in data engineering or DevOps, including at least one year working with DLT, DBT and Snowflake
- You bring strong hands-on experience in DLT and DBT development as well as solid knowledge of Data Vault loading patterns
- Advanced SQL and Python skills enable you to build, optimise and maintain robust ingestion frameworks
- You are familiar with GitOps in Azure DevOps and understand schema drift frameworks and CDC or hash diff logic
- Experience with Fivetran HVR and ADLS Gen2 allows you to manage and monitor data replication jobs effectively
