Your team
Operations provide secure and efficient processing of Pictet’s banking transactions and investment funds. Our teams ensure all activities follow regulations and manage risks.
By developing and maintaining a modern, robust infrastructure, we guarantee reliable, high-quality services for Pictet wealth management, asset management and real estate clients.
Clients & Assets Services department, part of the Operations division, is responsible for managing client data, financial instruments data and valuation, corporate actions, and proxy voting. Within this department, the newly established Data & Change Office serves as a transversal unit dedicated to Data Governance, Data Quality, and Change Management.
Your role
As the Head of the Data & Change Office, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading this new unit. Your responsibilities will include:
• Leadership & Strategy: Build and lead the Data & Change Office, acting as the key liaison between Operations, Technology, and Business Lines to prioritize initiatives, secure funding, and drive adoption of new processes and tools.
• Data Governance & Quality: Collaborate with data governance specialists to design and implement robust Data Governance and Data Quality frameworks, including policies, stewardship roles, data cataloguing, lineage, data quality rules, monitoring, and KPI reporting.
• Change Management: Partner with project managers to lead change initiatives within the department and across internal clients. This includes gathering requirements, planning releases, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT), driving adoption, and ensuring continuous improvement.
• Strategic Delivery: Translate strategic objectives into a prioritized delivery roadmap, leveraging business-case assessments (cost, ROI, dependencies, risks). Coordinate cross-functional delivery efforts with IT teams, external vendors, and key stakeholders. Work closely with IT experts to explore and implement technological solutions, including automation and process optimization.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing, multidisciplinary team. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Resource Management: Oversee the unit’s budget and resources to ensure operational efficiency and scalability.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with Front Office, Compliance, Risk, IT, and Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Your profile
• Advanced degree in Business/Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in the banking or financial services sector, with a focus on data management or project management.
• Demonstrated expertise in people management, stakeholder engagement, and effective communication.
• In-depth knowledge of data governance frameworks and a solid understanding of the opportunities and risks associated with AI/ML technologies.
• A strategic thinker with a strong focus on pragmatic delivery and a hands-on approach when necessary.
• Fluency in English and French (both spoken and written).
• Residence in Switzerland is required (or willing to relocate).
