Strategic Category Buyer (Electrical and Electronics) (M/W)

 Profile :

• CFC in commercial, technical or related

• At least 5 years of proven experience in strategic purchasing and procurement, ideally in electrical and electronic components

• Required knowledge of an ERP system, SAP an asset

• Knowledge of the broker market would be a plus

• Ability to read technical drawings and datasheet and propose alternative components in collaboration with R&D department in charge of PCBA and electronic components

• Solid negotiation skills, diplomatic and pragmatic

• Native French or German speaker, with strong command of English. Italian a plus.

• Rigorous, autonomous, good stress management

• Ability to work in a team also in a project management set up

Mission:

• Category Strategy definition with cost reduction and Net Working Capital objectives

• Evaluation of existing suppliers

• Support to department manager and R&D in researching and selecting new suppliers

• Optimization and improvement of strategic purchasing and procurement processes

• Set-up and update of procurement data in our ERP (SAP)

• Support and coordination of supplier changes

• Parts purchasing and supply as needed:

  • Follow-up on requests for proposals
  • Creating and sending orders
  • Tracking delivery times
  • Follow-up and control of order confirmations
  • Supplier invoice control
