Our mission: We safely power your flight. As a Quality Inspector – Combustion Chamber you will:
Your tasks
- Evaluate technical condition of engine parts according to effective regulations and perform in-process inspections and final inspections
- Create job orders due to inspection results and create shop orders for engine parts and engine assemblies
- Set timelines for the overhaul cycle of the engine parts
- Pursue clarification with engineering in case of findings out of limit
- Create documentation to allocate the parts condition to the customer
- Conduct internal audits (5S) and perform 5S principles to ensure a clean working space
- Ensure continuous development of shop processes to optimize quality, security and cost effects and ensure the company’s safety and quality regulations at all times
Your Profile
- Completed a (3–4 years) technical apprenticeship
- Basic IT knowledge (MS Office, SAP)
- English level minimum B1; German knowledge is an add-on
- Willingness to work in a two-shift system
- Able to analyze and optimize quality, security and cost affects with strong orientation towards process improvement
- Responsible for writing clear and concise protocols, study reports, and procedures
