The Role
As a Solution Engineer (also known as Presales Engineer, Sales Consultant, or Solution Consultant), you will be a key driver in helping our customers in the Retail and Consumer Goods space leverage the power of Salesforce technology — including our rapidly evolving AI capabilities.
We seek a technically-sharp professional with proven, hands-on experience with the Salesforce platform. You will be instrumental in bridging our technology's features to quantifiable business outcomes, focusing on automation, intelligence, and personalization across the customer journey.
This role requires a unique combination of deep technical acumen (especially in a Salesforce context), strong business understanding, and exceptional interpersonal finesse. You will partner with Account Executives to build trust with C-suite and IT decision-makers, guiding them through complex conversations, overcoming technical objections, and demonstrating exactly how our solutions solve their most pressing business challenges.

Your Responsibilities

Demonstrate Expertise: Leverage your prior hands-on experience with Salesforce to build and deliver tailored product demonstrations, technical deep-dives, and engaging workshops that showcase the platform’s value.

Trusted Advisor: Serve as a credible, articulate advisor to IT and business decision-makers, showcasing how Salesforce fits into their enterprise architecture and drives innovation.

Objection Ownership: Instill confidence in our technology infrastructure and proactively overcome technical objections throughout the sales cycle.

Progress the Deal: Respond effectively to RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs and support our sales teams with competent solutions and answers to customer requests.

Embrace AI: While not an AI specialist role, you will confidently articulate the value and adoption of our evolving AI capabilities (e.g., AI Agents) as they apply to customer solutions.

Stay Ahead: Collaborate cross-functionally and commit to continuous learning and certification within Salesforce’s evolving portfolio.
Your Qualifications

Language: Proficiency in French is strongly preferred, in addition to mandatory fluency in English (both written and verbal). Proficiency in German is a strong asset.

Experience: 3+ years in a solution engineering, technical consulting, or equivalent customer-facing technical role.

Salesforce Hands-On Expertise: Proven, tangible experience with the Salesforce platform. Salesforce certifications are a significant plus.

Technical Acumen: You are eager to explore new technologies and enjoy learning and testing in a hands-on manner, and are able to move beyond features to connect technology capabilities directly to customer business outcomes and value realization.

Interpersonal Prowess: Outgoing, confident communicator who thrives in high-stakes, customer-facing environments. You are an adaptable team player who brings creativity, curiosity and ownership to every engagement.

Industry Interest: A background or keen interest in the Retail, Luxury and/or Consumer Goods industries.
