Job Description
Over the past few years Sika has grown in size and complexity. Therefore, the manucturing footprint and operations controlling activities need to be elevated. As part of that, it is essential to ensure continuous improvement, automation and further development of the operations/factory reporting and controlling and act as effective business partners to drive performance and impact.
- Drive the operations reporting and development by preparing benchmarks, identify improvement potentials, highlight developments and further automate the whole reporting process
- Follow-up with Regional/Area Controlling on operations reporting and operational efficiency initiatives progress, related to both quantitative and qualitative topics
- Prepare the factory performance package on a global level including comments from all region for the quarterly group management reporting
- Prepare the consolidation of operational efficiency initiatives on a global level from all regions for the monthly group management reporting
- Work closely with the Regions to compile detailed investment budget and implement a digital solution
- Prepare “back-testing” to review the success of investment projects
- Business Administration of the custom PowerApp solutions for investment approval/process and operational efficiency initiatives creation. Drive further development of the tools to capitalize all potential synergies among them, with the goal to reduce the workload of local controllers
- User support including training and onboarding of new users in the PowerApp tools and assistance during reporting cycle (as needed)
- Assist group controlling team in controlling, reporting, non-financial reporting, M&A integration and contributions to external reporting
- Be in charge of consolidating all efficiencies projects on a global level from all regions on a monthly basis
- Co-leads the operations controlling
- Super-User for all PowerApps used on a global level from operations controlling team
- Lead projects in the area of investment-tools, investment-controlling, and continuous improvements
Qualifications
- You have proven experience (3+ years) in a comparable function with broad knowledge in operational/manufacturing controlling and CAPEX investments
- You are a financial and controlling expert with a solid educational background (bachelor or master).
- You convince on all levels with good communications skills in English. German is an asset.
- You work in a self-sufficient, practical, hands-on way with strong result drive.
- Good social skills and a motivational and participative work style is helpful. Open-minded and willing to learn and to grow in a diverse setup: multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary position based in Switzerland, Baar.
- Excellent Excel skills. Advanced Power BI skills. SAP and Hyperion knowledge is an asset.
