GT & Touring Cars Sporting Coordinator (Geneva - Switzerland)
Join the FIA and contribute to the development and excellence of its international sporting activities. As a GT & Touring Cars Sporting Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the organization, administration, and operational delivery of FIA GT and Touring Car competitions. This position is central to the FIA’s mission of ensuring high‑quality sporting governance and seamless event execution across its championships.
Working closely with officials, competitors, and internal FIA departments, you will oversee sporting coordination, event preparation, and commission administration. Your organizational skills, attention to detail, and passion for motorsport will be essential in supporting the FIA’s sporting operations.
MISSIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
SPORTING COORDINATION & EVENT SUPPORT
- Act as Sporting Coordinator for FIA GT and Touring Car competitions, including competitor registrations, event planning, management of officials, and invoicing.
- Attend selected competitions in the role of Sporting Coordinator, with international travel to an average of five events per season.
- Act as an official when required, such as Secretary to the Stewards or Race Control Operator.
COMMISSION ADMINISTRATION
- Oversee the administration of the GT and Touring Car Commissions.
- Manage communications with commission members and ensure timely distribution of documentation.
- Organize virtual and physical meetings (held in both Paris and Geneva).
- Prepare meeting agendas, dossiers, and minutes.
OPERATIONAL SUPPORT & PROJECTS
- Assist with transversal departmental projects and operational activities.
- Contribute to improving processes, tools, and coordination within the Sporting Department.
- Maintain and update administrative tracking tools, shared documents, and event‑related databases.
PROFILE:
- University degree in Business Management, Sport Management, or a related field.
- Up to 5 years of relevant experience in motorsport administration or within a sporting federation is a strong asset
- Experience working with teams, trackside, circuits, or ASNs is a strong advantage.
- Background in managing sports events is a significant plus.
- Passion for motorsport is desirable.
- Native or fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office and Adobe tools
- Excellent organizational abilities, with strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Rigorous, proactive, and able to work effectively in a dynamic international environment.
- Ability to work over weekends and on nightshift
This position is based at the FIA offices in Geneva.
