Job Summary:
The Marketing Specialist plays a key role in supporting gategroup’s commercial activities by delivering high‑quality content, presentations, and visual materials that strengthen customer engagement and commercial outcomes. Reporting to the Marketing Manager this role transforms insights into compelling, customer‑ready messaging and ensures all deliverables align with gategroup’s corporate identity and value propositions.
The Specialist manages day‑to‑day project coordination, supports the commercial pipeline, and provides essential marketing and creative support across the organization. In addition, the role contributes to the planning and execution of events, liaises with external creative partners to oversee timely delivery of marketing assets, and maintains brand consistency across gategroup’s global portfolio. This position requires strong creative skills, project management capability, and the ability to produce polished, visually impactful materials that elevate the customer experience and reinforce gategroup’s competitive strengths.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Commercial Marketing Content

Develop clear, persuasive, and customer‑centric content that reflects gategroup’s portfolio, value propositions, and competitive strengths.

Transform insights from subject‑matter experts into compelling customer‑ready narratives that are consistent across brands and regions.

Design polished, visually impactful presentations and sales collateral that support strong storytelling and enhance commercial outcomes.

Partner with Commercial teams to create tailored customer presentations for tenders, pitches, business opportunities, and customer meetings/events.

Ensure all customer‑facing materials fully comply with gategroup’s corporate identity and visual standards in collaboration with the Design & Brand Manager.

Support the management of the commercial project pipeline, ensuring projects are assessed, prioritized, and delivered to required quality and timelines.
Cross ‑ Functional Marketing Support

Provide high‑quality marketing, creative, and content support to teams such as Customer Experience, Corporate Communications, ESG, and HR.

Supply brand and visual assets for customer events and touchpoints (e.g., videos, banners, booklets, and other engagement materials).

Conduct desk research, ideation, and content generation for ad‑hoc business requests across the organization.
Brand Integration & Partner Collaboration

Collaborate with gategroup’s key brands (gategourmet, servair, gateretail, gatesolutions, deSter, uqonic) to ensure integrated, consistent marketing outputs.

Proactively highlight each brand’s USPs and differentiators within commercial and marketing materials.

Liaise with external partners—including creative agencies—to manage project pipelines and ensure timely, high‑quality delivery of marketing collateral.
Graphic Design & Visual Identity Support

Provide ad‑hoc graphic design support to the Design & Brand Manager when required.

Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all marketing assets and presentations.
Event Marketing & Execution

Support planning, coordination, and on‑site execution of events such as industry exhibitions, conferences, sponsorship activities, and internal gatherings.

Assist Customer Experience and Commercial teams with event‑specific branding needs and material
Qualifications:
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing Communications with Project Management and holistic marketing experience.
Work Experience
-
Minimum 3 years of marketing & communications experience in a global matrix organization.

Strong combination of project management, content creation and creative and design skills.
-
Demonstrated success in producing high-impact presentations and materials for internal and external customers, including C-level.

Very strong coordination, and cross-functional management skills.
Technical Skills
-
In-dept knowledge in Microsoft Office, expert-level proficiency in PowerPoint.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Planner, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).

Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).

Experience using project management and workflow tools.

Excellent verbal and written English; additional languages are a plus.

Excellent copywriting and communication skills
