We are seeking an experienced Credit / Bond Trader. The ideal candidate has experience in vanilla synthetic Credit trading (CDS) and Bonds trading (ideally a market making, or brokerage experience). You will be responsible for sourcing liquidity, executing trades, managing risk, and providing market insights to clients and internal stakeholders. Strong analytical skills, market intuition, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.
What you'll do
- Execute trades in corporate bonds, credit derivatives (CDS), and other fixed income products across primary and secondary markets
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing liquidity and market intelligence
- Monitor and analyse credit market trends, macroeconomic factors, and issuer-specific developments
- Manage risk exposure by optimizing inventory and hedging positions effectively
- Collaborate with structuring and sales, to identify trading opportunities and deliver value to clients
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk management policies
- Provide pricing and trade ideas to clients
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience in credit trading, bond sales trading, or a related fixed income role
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of credit markets, including corporate bonds and CDS
- Familiarity with trading platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Tradeweb, etc.) and risk management systems
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to articulate market views clearly
- Quantitative aptitude with proficiency in Excel (VBA/Python a plus)
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick, informed decisions
