We are excited to offer a summer internship opportunity within our PWM German-Speaking Switzerland Market in Basel. This internship is a full-time position for one month, ideal for students pursuing their bachelor's or master's degrees.
Your role
• Providing assistance to the client relationship managers in their marketing activities by preparing visits and presentations, organising events and mailings, and updating client databases.
• Liaising with different internal stakeholders and investment teams to support the client relationship managers in their follow-up work for clients.
• Assisting the team with account openings, general risk & compliance-related tasks, money transfers and executing trades.
• Involvement in creating investment proposals and helping to prepare client meetings.
• Helping client relationship managers to create and send out customised cold-calling letters.
• Carrying out research on attractive prospects and creating personalised presentations for each of them.
• Providing assistance with preparing charts, maps and memos as well as performing calculations and completing general administrative tasks.
• General duties linked to hospitality for client visits.
Your profile
• Bachelor’s or Master’s student/university degree, or a qualification deemed equivalent.
• Work experience in finance would be a plus; the ability to work as part of a team is essential.
• A highly motivated individual with analytical, communication and organisational skills as well as a willingness to take on tasks and work independently before reporting back to the team with results.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build up a solid network within the Pictet Group.
• Skilled user of the standard IT applications (MS Office).
• Swiss German native speaker with excellent command in English; French would be a plus.
• Must be resident in Switzerland.
