As part of the Nexon International Sales team, the Junior International Market Development Specialist support the international market growth via direct activities with business partners (distributors) and customers (surgeons, hospital teams) through downstream marketing activities.
We are a dynamic, and family-owned medical technology company based in Oberkirch/Sursee (Switzerland), specializing in minimally invasive spinal surgery solutions. Our clients include hospitals, where we provide implants, instruments, and cutting-edge technologies. Over the years, we have established ourselves as one of the leading partners for spinal surgeons in Switzerland.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Sales (70-100 % of the time)
Distributor support
- Support and guide existing distributors, enhancing theirs success through strategic education and marketing:
- Organize, setup and participate in major congresses
- Support local symposium and webinars
- Plan and support local anatomical laboratory
- Engage in local sales team training
Surgeon Education
- Support surgeons through the Nexon Continuous Development (CPD) pathway to maximize adoption and procedural success:
- Organize and join surgeon hospitation in Nexon reference Facilitator surgeon
- Participate in local and international trainings
Product Marketing (0-30 % of the time)
- Support product manager(s) to launch innovations and manage current portfolio:
- Creation/Improvement of current marketing materials
- Support new products launch
Requirements:
- Travel: 40-60% variable days and weekly proportion depending on the yearly period and country development phases. Travels are for the huge majority within Europe (shorts flights, no jetlag). Might include some weekends and public holidays (compensated the following days).
- Example: Generally, Dec-Jan and July-Aug will be less dense in travels; March-Mai and Oct-Nov might be more.
- Outside of travels, mix of company and home office work
- Language: Fluent English, any additional European language is an advantage
Your Profile:
- Master (or Bachelor) diploma in Biology/Medicine, Business or Engineering.
- First experience in Sales, Marketing, Customer relationship
- Fast learner to be rapidly proficient in Spine anatomy, pathology and products related surgical techniques
- Structured, organized and logical mindset (event organization…)
- Strong social interaction skills:
- Clear and controlled communication, language and content being adapted to the interlocutor
- Good presentation to represent the Nexon brand
- Positive and empathetic personality
