Transformation Program Director ( Shared Services & Sourcing)
Job Description
The Transformation Program Director – Shared Services & Sourcing is responsible for managing strategic programs which aim to transform the SCOR operating model. The current program combines the set up of new operations in several locations to drive service excellence, operational efficiency, and internalization of strategic capabilities. In this context, he/she acts as a program manager and engages with the Product Owners and Workstream Leads to ensure cross-functional alignment and smooth implementation of the prgrams, including with external vendors when needed. In this role, he/she monitors the planning of the activities, identifies and monitors execution risks, supports the workstreams including in problem solving, and reports to the Steering Committee.
Responsibilities
Program Management & Governance
Establish robust program governance, including steering committees, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms
Ensure day-to-day management of the program, including coordination and communication across workstreams, problem solving, risk management, etc.
Manage program budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery
Monitor the benefits realization of the program, and anticipate situations that can hinder the success of the implementation
Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and change impacts across the organization
Prepare the Steering Committees with Product Owners and Workstream Leads
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management
Engage senior leaders in functions and regional teams to ensure alignment and buy-in
Communicate program progress, milestones, and report to the Steering Committee
Lead change management efforts (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter) with the relevant stakeholders to drive adoption and cultural integration
Support the selection process of external vendors for the relevant workstreams or projects together with procurement teams
Qualifications
Required experience & competencies
10+ years of experience in transformation leadership, with a focus on shared services and sourcing, preferably in financial services industry
Proven track record of delivering large-scale operational transformation programs
Deep understanding of global sourcing and shared service center operations
Good general re-insurance knowledge in P&C, L&H and Finance
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to generate buy-in with senior stakeholders
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
Certifications in project management (PMP), Lean Six Sigma, or change management are advantageous
