Primary School Teacher for German, Math and TTG

Your Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in Mathematics, German and Textiles and Technical Design for Grade 5 in accordance with Lehrplan 21.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs, abilities, and interests of all students.
• Assess, document and report student progress regularly, using both formative and summative assessment methods.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports academic and social-emotional growth.
• Collaborate closely with parallel teachers and subject colleagues to ensure alignment and consistency across the grade level.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with parents, colleagues, and school leadership.
• Participate actively in school life, staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
• Integrate digital tools and innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning and engagement.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the school’s teaching and learning culture in line with the school’s mission and values.

Your Profile:

• Qualified primary school teacher with recognized Swiss teaching credentials (or equivalent qualification accepted in Switzerland).
• Proven experience teaching Mathematics and German at the primary level, ideally in Grade 5.
• Strong knowledge of and experience working with Lehrplan 21.
• German, native speaker; good English skills are an advantage.
• Committed to fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and independent learning in students.
• Able to differentiate instruction and support students with varying learning styles and abilities.
• Team-oriented, flexible, and enthusiastic about contributing to a collaborative school culture.
• Confident in using digital tools and technology to support and enrich learning.
• Enjoys integrating outdoor and experiential learning opportunities into the curriculum to connect classroom learning with the natural environment.
• Professional, reliable, and passionate about providing high-quality education.
• Eligible to work in Switzerland (Swiss or EU/EFTA citizenship, or valid work permit).
