As a Compliance Engineer (40%) you will support our Safety & Regulatory Compliance function by maintaining regulatory alignment, managing compliance processes and acting as an interface to aviation authorities. You will ensure that standards, authorisations and procedures remain up to date, effective, and fully compliant with the applicable regulations Possible increase to 80–100% after 12 months

Your tasks
- Maintain and update company standards, procedures and manuals in line with aviation regulatory requirements
- Coordinate and close internal/external audit findings through corrective and preventive actions
- Manage capability lists, company authorisations and stamps, ensuring accurate records and approvals
- Approve and monitor subcontractors to maintain compliance and regulatory readiness
- Act as point of contact with aviation authorities (FOCA, UK CAA, ECAA), preparing and maintaining certification documentation
- Conduct internal and external audits covering safety, quality and compliance
- Support and deliver training sessions (web-based or classroom) on compliance and related subjects
Your Profile
- Technical degree (EQF level 4+) in aerospace, mechanical engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience in regulatory/compliance functions
- Strong knowledge of civil aviation regulations (EASA continuing airworthiness preferred)
- Experience with compliance audits, certification processes, or quality assurance systems
- Strong analytical, organisational and project management skills; deadline-oriented
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with SAP or Q-Pulse is an advantage
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent English (C1); German is a plus
