At McDonald's Switzerland, marketing plays a central role in driving brand relevance, digital engagement and strong customer connections across multiple touchpoints. To complement its Marketing department based in Crissier, McDonald's Switzerland is looking to fill the role of :
Marketing Trainee (80-100%)
We are looking for a Marketing Trainee to join our Marketing Team for a 12-month internship. In this exciting role, you will offer broad exposure to digital marketing, brand activities, campaign coordination and operational support, working across several teams within the Marketing function.
This internship is ideal for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience and build strong marketing foundations in a fast-paced, collaborative and digitally driven environment.
Key responsibilities
The Marketing Trainee will support the team across core marketing activities, with a strong focus on coordination, administration and execution support.
Digital Marketing & Content Support
- Support the execution of digital marketing initiatives across owned platforms
- Assist with content updates, coordination and basic quality checks
- Help ensure consistency and accuracy of digital content and marketing materials
- Support simple testing and checks across digital touchpoints
Marketing Campaign & Brand Support
- Assist in the coordination of marketing campaigns across multiple channels
- Support campaign timelines, materials and internal follow-ups
- Help prepare briefs, presentations and internal communications
Brand & Customer Experience
- Contribute to initiatives that improve the customer journey
- Help identify customer feedback or recurring issues and share insights with the team
- Support first-level customer enquiries related to marketing topics
Reporting & Analysis
- Support the preparation of regular marketing and campaign reports
- Help consolidate data and basic performance tracking
- Assist in preparing summaries and insights for internal stakeholders
Operational & Team Support
- Take ownership of recurring marketing administrative and coordination tasks
- Support meeting preparation, documentation and project follow-up
- Work closely with different teams within the Marketing function and external agencies
- Be flexible and adaptable to support changing priorities across the team
Profile
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, digitally curious and comfortable taking ownership.
* Student or recent graduate in marketing, business or a related field
* Strong interest in digital marketing, brands and consumer behaviour
* A genuine customer of the McDonald's brand
* Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Proactive, reliable and confident to take ownership of tasks
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
* Fluent in German and English (mandatory), French and/or Italian is a plus
