We are looking for a Project Engineer to support our polymer machining and processing business in Klingnau. In this role, you will ensure a high manufacturing standard through quality control and process optimization. Additionally, you will take on challenging customer requests and engineering projects. How you'll make an impact

Provide technical support to the production team

Manage development projects internally and in collaboration with customers

Introduce new production processes and define production parameters

Conduct thermal, mechanical, and electrical material testing for developments and quality assurance

Create detailed test reports and protocols to meet customer requirements

Implement and optimize processes for continuous improvement

Perform failure analysis and propose corrective actions

Ensure high-quality laboratory testing is conducted

Support engineering activities and maintain excellence in production

Implement and maintain ISO management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
Your background
-
Degree in engineering (e.g., mechanical engineering or materials technology)

Strong expertise in plastics and composite materials

Proven experience in project work and management

Familiarity with SAP systems is an advantage

Fluent in German (B2+) and English

Knowledge and experience in measurement and laboratory technology
