For our client, part of a leading international reinsurance group in Zurich, we are looking for a
Key responsibilities
Claims Handling
• Review and validate claims in Property, Casualty and Specialty lines of business
• Interact with clients and brokers on coverage, treaty structure, and claims issues
• Perform daily assessment, validation and booking of claims as well as processing payments
• Collaborate with Underwriting and Reserving teams on trends and corrective measures.
Technical Accounting
• Support technical accounting processes and respond to accounting queries
• Oversee internal controls related to technical operations
• Coordinate workflows with our service provider, including account receipt, triage,
verification, and reconciliation.
Underwriting Support (seasonal)
• Assist Underwriting and Pricing teams during renewal cycles with data input and review
General
• Drive continuous process improvement and support system enhancements
• Ensure data quality and build effective internal and external relationships
What You Bring
• Completed insurance apprenticeship or degree in business, engineering, or law
• 3–5 years’ experience in re/insurance operations (Claims or Technical Accounting)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Independent working style with team spirit
• Ability to prioritize and keen to develop a broad range of skills with a "can-do" attitude
Fluent English; German or French is a plus
• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills
• Eagerness to grow and contribute across functions
