Position: Preventative Maintenance and Installation Specialist
Location: Mississauga, ON
Job type: Fulltime
Base Salary Range: $52,000 - $55,000
The impact you will have
As a Preventative Maintenance and Installation Specialist, you will apply your technical knowledge to troubleshoot, repair, maintain and install Arjo equipment and products for the Arjo customer on-site within medical care facilities.
You will support customers by securing the best possible condition for mobility products and solutions. Your skills will help empower movement for people facing mobility challenges and increase the quality of lives for residents, patients and caregivers.
As the Preventative Maintenance and Installation Specialis you will be responsible for:
- Performing field service activities at healthcare facilities throughout Ontario and potentially across Canada as needed. Key duties include:
- Completing on-site preventative maintenance and repair services
- Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
- Controlling inventory
- Managing data and documentation
- Achieving all measurable performance targets
- Additionally, the specialist will manage the uncrate and assembly requirements in Ontario, specifically focusing on new build and redevelopment projects as assigned by the Manager.
- This role may also cover key vacant territories, requiring the ability to travel.
The skills you will need
- 2-4 years hands-on related technical experience performing onsite service.
- Undergraduate degree or certification in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to recommend, promote, and sell products and services based on client needs.
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and technical repair skills.
- Computer literacy, including familiarity with IT concepts, personal computers, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel to multiple customer sites on a regular basis, including overnight stays when needed.
